Generic Olympic Hockey Skate & Sticks Pin

This is a generic, undated pin produced in support of Olympic hockey. Over the years, there have been numerous Olympic hockey pins depicting a lone hockey skate, several of which I have featured in prior blog entries (see, May 29, 2011 and August 1, 2011, for examples). This week I will feature a few more Olympic hockey skate pins. By the way, the generic pin shown here has a value of $4.00 USD.

With nearly every post I try to give an idea of the value of the Olympic pin(s) that are highlighted in the post. I have been a collector for many years, and during that time I have tracked the sale of hundreds of Olympic hockey pins. The values that I post on this blog are based on this research and also, most certainly, are affected by my own subjective feelings about the pin(s), so take them with a grain of salt. Of course, the true value of a pin is what a buyer is willing to pay and what a seller accepts for the item at any given time.
