2014 Sochi Hockey Player & Russian Flag No.1

With the 2014 Olympic Winter Games fast approaching, there are numerous pins being released for the Sochi Games. Recently, a series of six hockey pins was released featuring the "sochi.ru 2014" logo. This is one of two different hockey player pins (the other four are hockey equipment pins). This pin has a value of $12.00 USD.

With nearly every post I try to give an idea of the value of the Olympic pin(s) that are highlighted in the post. I have been a collector for many years, and during that time I have tracked the sale of hundreds of Olympic hockey pins. The values that I post on this blog are based on this research and also, most certainly, are affected by my own subjective feelings about the pin(s), so take them with a grain of salt. Of course, the true value of a pin is what a buyer is willing to pay and what a seller accepts for the item at any given time.
