The reason for the change was a dispute that began during the 2008 Summer Games in which the International Olympic Committee prevented national sports federations from using their logos on jerseys worn during Olympic competition. This pin, which is not a cloisonné, has a value of $8.00 USD, but sold for up to $25.00 USD during the 2010 Games.
