Because Japan defeated the United States today in the World Cup soccer final, I thought I should write a post in honor of Japan. So today's pin comes from the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano, Japan and was produced for the Japan Ice Hockey Federation. During the 1998 Games, the Japanese men's hockey team finished in 13th place among the 14 competing nations, while the Japanese women's hockey team finished in 6th place out of the six competing nations. I would value this pin at $15.00 USD (though, incredibly enough, I have seen this one sell for $103.50 USD online).
