You often hear that the "little black dress" is a staple in any woman's wardrobe. Well, the patent black leather hockey skate is the international staple in Olympic hockey. (In fact, has anyone ever seen an Olympic hockey player lace up anything other than a pair of black bladed boots?) This generic black hockey skate pin was made for the 2002 Winter Games held in Salt Lake City, Utah. There were 5,000 of these pins produced, and the value of this pin is $5.00 (though during the 2002 Games is usually sold for between $7.00 and $10.00 USD).
