2006 Visa USA Hockey Sponsor Hockey Pin #1

This is the first of two player photo pins produced for Visa's sponsorship of USA Hockey during the 2006 Winter Games held in Torino, Italy. The pin features the USA women's hockey icon Cammi Granato (who was also featured on the 2002 Kodak pin highlighted on this blog on March 25, 2012). The value of this pin is $8.00 USD.

With nearly every post I try to give an idea of the value of the Olympic pin(s) that are highlighted in the post. I have been a collector for many years, and during that time I have tracked the sale of hundreds of Olympic hockey pins. The values that I post on this blog are based on this research and also, most certainly, are affected by my own subjective feelings about the pin(s), so take them with a grain of salt. Of course, the true value of a pin is what a buyer is willing to pay and what a seller accepts for the item at any given time.
