2002 Smith's Marketplace Olympic Goalie Cow Pin

This is a fun hockey pin produced for a local grocery store chain, Smith's Marketplace, for the 2002 Winter Games held in Salt Lake City, Utah. The pin features a dairy cow geared up in goaltender pads. I think this pin is hilarious because of the play on words as "Goalie Cow" sounds a lot like the "Holy Cow" phrase that long time Chicago Cubs announcer Harry Caray made famous. The value on this pin is $6.00 USD.

2002 Southern Company Hockey Player Pin

The value on this pin is $15.00 USD, but often still sells for $20.00 USD and above because it was exceedingly rare and hard to come by during the 2002 Games.
