This is the third Canadian Hockey NOC pin from the 1998 Winter Games held in Nagano, Japan. The value on this pin is $9.00 USD, though I have seen it sell for up to $21.00 USD even after the 1998 Games were over.

2002 United States Secret Service Pin (Black)
Like yesterday's pin, this United States Secret Service pin also depicts a hockey pictogram on the left side of the pin and comes from the 2002 Winter Games in Salt Lake City, Utah. This black version of the pin is quite a bit larger than the blue version shown yesterday, and this black version is number stamper on the back of the pin. The pin shown is number 4112 out of 5000 pins made. The value of this pin is $12.00 USD, but during the 2002 Games it was highly sought after and sold for up to $75.00 USD!

1948 Royal Canadian Air Force Flyers Olympic Pin
This is a rare Royal Canadian Air Force Flyers pin from the 1948 Winter Olympics held in St. Moritz, Switzerland. The RCAF Flyers were a Canadian amateur ice hockey team, based in Ottawa, which skated to an Olympic gold medal during the 1948 Games--Canada's fourth gold medal out of the first five Olympic hockey tournaments. In his book entitled Gold Medal 'Misfits', Pat MacAdam chronicles the amazing story of this rags-to-riches team that made Olympic history. This pin has a value of $50.00 to $75.00 USD, though it is very rarely available for purchase. In 2011, I saw this pin sell for $202.92 USD.

2010 Western Union Money Mart Unofficial Pin
This "unofficial" Olympic pin was made for the 2010 Winter Games held in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The pin was distributed by Western Union's Money Mart stores in Vancouver and has a value of $7.00 USD. During the 2010 Games, many of the local retailers got into the spirit of the Games and supported the home Canadian team by adopting the "Believe" motto, painting store windows (below) and producing pins in support of the Canadian athletes.

2010 Snickers "Believe" Canada Hockey Sponsor Pin
This pin comes from the 2010 Winter Games held in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The pin was produced for Snickers in support of the Canadian Olympic hockey team. During the 2010 Games, the "Believe" slogan was adopted by the Canadian Olympic team and, in retrospect, it worked as the Canadian men and women swept the hockey gold medals. This is a lower quality non-cloisonne pin, which was rare for the 2010 Games, and its value is just $5.00 USD. Incredibly, however, I did see this pin sell for up to $42.07 USD during the 2010 Games.

1998 Olympic Pin Collector Hockey Pictogram Pin
Like my two previous blog posts, this is another pin commemorating the 1994 Winter Games held in Lillehammer, Norway, this one made released in 1998. Like the 1995 and 1996 versions, this pin includes many of the official 1994 winter sport pictograms, including the hockey pictogram on the lower right side of the pin. The pin has a value of $7.00 USD. I am not aware of whether there is a 1997 version of this pin, or whether there are any versions dated after 1998.

1980 Roni Mascot Hockey Pin
Here is another Roni mascot hockey pin from the 1980 Winter Games held at Lake Placid, New York, USA. In the pin to the right, which was featured in a blog entry on April 28, 2011, the upper portion of the mascot's hockey gloves are green, whereas the in the larger pin on the left featured today the upper portion of the hockey gloves are red. Also, the hockey stick on the pin to the left has a solid metal finish as opposed to the cloisonné finish of the stick on the pin to the right. Finally, unlike the pin on the right, the pin on the left does not have the back stamp "© 1979". The value on today's pin is $11.00 USD.
